Most downtown pedicab fares are set by each driver at the curb. Two riders on the same block can pay very different prices, and the number often comes up only when the ride is over. Power Chariots posts every fare in advance.

Power Chariots is a VIP Pedicab company, founded by Ali Horuz. Ali came to the US in 2003 with $500 and built VIP Pedicab into a multi-million-dollar San Diego business. Read Ali's story.

Pedicab questions, answered
How much does a pedicab ride cost in San Diego with Power Chariots?+
$20 per person for any ride inside our downtown service area. Guided tours are $40 for 30 minutes, $70 for 60 minutes and $95 for 90 minutes, per person. Every price is posted and paid before you ride. See the full San Diego pedicab price guide.
Is the price per person or per chariot?+
Per person. Each chariot seats up to six riders, and larger groups get as many chariots as they need.
Can the driver charge me more at the end?+
No. The fare is paid and locked before you ride. The only thing you can add is an optional tip.
Do I need to tip?+
No. Tips are optional and go 100% to your driver. You can add one when you pay.
Do kids ride free?+
Kids under 5 ride free on an adult's lap. Everyone else pays the per-person fare.
Where can you pick me up and drop me off?+
Anywhere inside our service area: Little Italy, North Embarcadero, the Gaslamp Quarter, East Village, the Convention Center, Seaport Village, Sherman Heights and Barrio Logan. See the service area map for the exact boundary.
What are your hours?+
Power Chariots runs daily from 11am to 2am, with extra chariots on Padres game days and convention nights.

Can I cancel and get a refund?+
Yes. Cancel up to 15 minutes before pickup for a full refund. Cancellations inside 15 minutes and no-shows aren't refunded. If we cancel for weather, safety or an equipment problem, you get 100% back. Full refund policy.
What happens if it rains?+
If the weather makes riding unsafe, we cancel the ride and refund 100% of your fare.
Do you serve Padres games and conventions?+
Yes. Petco Park and the San Diego Convention Center are inside our service area, and we add chariots on game and event days.
Do you do weddings, parties and corporate events?+
Yes. Event bookings are quoted per event based on the date, hours and number of chariots. Send a request in the event form and we'll reply with a fixed quote.
