Power Chariots is operated by VIP Pedicabs LLC, 2141 Newton Ave, San Diego, CA 92113. This policy explains how we handle information when you use powerchariots.com, book by text or phone, or ride with us.
What we collect
- Booking details you give us: your name, phone number, email, pickup and drop-off location, date and time, number of riders, and anything you write in a message or event request.
- Texts and calls: messages you send to our dispatch number, (619) 648-4847.
- Payments: Square processes payments and tells us whether a payment went through, the amount, and limited card details such as the card type and last four digits.
- Website basics: like most websites, our host (Netlify) and our font provider (Google Fonts) receive standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type when you load a page.
How we use it
- To book, dispatch and complete your ride or tour, and to contact you about it.
- To send receipts and handle refunds.
- To answer questions and quote events.
- To keep riders, drivers and the public safe, and to meet legal obligations.
We only send marketing messages if you ask for them, and you can opt out any time by replying STOP or emailing us.
Who we share it with
We share information only with companies that help us run the service: Square (payments), Netlify (website hosting and our event request form) and our phone and email providers. They may use it only to provide their service to us. We may also share information when the law requires it or to protect someone's safety. We don't sell or rent your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and payment records as long as we need them for accounting, tax and legal purposes, and delete or anonymize other information when we no longer need it.
Your choices and California rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we won't treat you differently for using them. Email info@powerchariots.com with your request.
Children
Our website and booking tools are meant for adults. Children may ride with a supervising adult, but we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We use reputable providers and limit access to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so contact us right away if you think your information has been misused.

We'll update the date at the top whenever this policy changes.
